Editing Ethics Policy

Scopus Publications provides language editing, scientific editing, formatting and publication support. We do not write original research on your behalf, fabricate data, or guarantee journal acceptance.

What we do

• Improve grammar, clarity, flow and academic tone
• Suggest structural improvements and journal-guideline formatting
• Help with cover letters, reviewer responses and resubmission packaging
• Provide plagiarism/similarity screening guidance when requested

What we do not do

• Change your data, findings, conclusions or authorship
• Submit manuscripts to journals without your approval
• Promise publication outcomes controlled by journal editors
• Share your manuscript with third parties outside your project team

Confidentiality

Manuscripts and personal details are visible only to assigned editors and project staff. We follow secure handling practices and never sell or publish client research.

Authorship & disclosure

Authors remain fully responsible for scientific content. Where a journal requires disclosure of language editing, we can provide an editing certificate on request.
